NORTH EAST

PETERLEE PUMAS came out on top in a thrilling match away at rivals JARROW VIKINGS, winning 48-28. Star of the show was full back Scott Jordan who claimed a hat trick for the visitors.

Wall did the same trick soon after but the sides were level again when Craig Gilmore took an offload from Luke Watson in front of the posts and crashed over just before the half hour.

Adam Howard got on the end of some good interplay to put Peterlee back in front, and Houghton broke the home defence on half way, danced passed a couple of defenders and sprinted for the line, Moss making it 24-12 at the break.

Jarrow hit back from the re-start but Carle Brown went over in response before Jordan took over; re-gathering his own chip for his first, catching a last tackle bomb for his second and crossing out wide with the final play for his third.

CRAMLINGTON ROCKETS produced a terrific display to down NEWCASTLE STORM 26-22. Rockets led 22-10 at the break but the visitors had levelled going into the last minute when Cramlington were awarded a penalty from which they posted the decisive points.
